Just Wanted to Say Hi!
Hello!
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am Mrs. Debbie Zapalac. I have called East Bernard home my entire life and I graduated as an EB brahma. I am married to my high school sweetheart of 28 years. We have three children who have all attended EBISD, Claudia (24) labor & delivery nurse, Elijah (21) A&M student, Emma (16) junior at EBISD. I began my career at EBISD by subbing at the elementary campus. It was at this time that I fell in love with the thought of helping kids engage in learning. In 2015 I became a Response to Intervention (RTI) aide. I am now celebrating my 8th year at the elementary. Through my journey I have been supported by God and my wonderful husband and children. I am thrilled to start a new year and help students along their path at East Bernard Elementary.
