Mr. Robert Palermo

Hi All!
Blessed to be entering this school year as a Brahma!

Thanks for being part of the Brahma Family! In our bands, we strive
for each student to comprehend concepts that leads them to think critically, develop their character, and above all, form better people. Music plays a large developmental role in a young person's life for it epitomizes and mirrors core values of good citizenship - collaboration, discipline, perseverance, diligence and fellowship.  Through diligent hard work, a fun music making atmosphere, and recognition of the gamut that music covers (art, science, foreign languages, history, cognitive development), we will discover the world of music and fellowship.

I hold a Bachelor in Music Education and a Masters in Music Performance from SFASU, where I studied with Dr. Brian R. Utley, Dr. Nathan Nabb (BM and MA).  I returned to Texas after perusing my Doctoral degree University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign teaching under Professor Debra Richtmeyer and Professor Chip McNeil as their Teaching Assistant. Blessed to part of the Brahma family for 5 years, and be husband and father to my wife Katy and two amazing kids, Maggie and Johnny.
