Registration for New EBISD Students (Includes Withdrawn and Re-Enrolling Students)

New Student Registration
 
Register your new student using EBISD's online registration powered by Ascender.  A new student is defined as new to EBISD and having never attended a school in EBISD, or a previous EBISD student that withdrew and is re-enrolling.  
 
Steps to registration:
 
Prior to starting online registration, gather the following documents.  Upload of documents is recommended in New Student Registration.
  • Student's Official Birth Certificate
  • Student's Social Security Card
  • Parent/Guardian's ID
  • Proof of Immunizations
  • Proof of Residency - If you own a house, a current electric bill.  If renting a house, a current lease and a current eclectic bill.  
  • Once you make an account in Parent Portal, verify your email.  You cannot complete registration without completing this step.
 
New Student Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open.  
 
  • New Student online registration (K-12)
  • Pre-Kindergarten New Student online registration (You must qualify for Pre-Kindergarten.)
 
You may be contacted about additional documents needed to complete your student's registration.  EBISD Registrar will contact you if needed. 
 
Steps to completing enrollment if you log out before completing the application:
  1. Log back into Ascender
  2. Click Enroll a New Student
  3. Click Skip to Step 4 (Blue Box)

Pre-K Qualifying Criteria 


A child is eligible for enrollment in free prekindergarten if he or she is at least three years of age and meets at least one of the following criteria: 


  • Unable to speak or comprehend the English language
  • Is eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program Homeless 
  • The child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or the reserves 
  • The child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or the reserves, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
  • Is or ever has been in foster care 
  • The child of a police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical responder seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and received the Star of Texas Award.

Criterios de calificación de prekínder
