A little about me.
I am a teacher because I love working with teenagers.  I see the beauty in the hopes and dreams of my students and work to push them toward achieving their goals.  I have high expectations for my students.  I expect them to complete all of my assignments and encourage them to try again if necessary.  Parents, please contact me if there is anything you want to discuss regarding your child's performance in my class.
What will students need?
All students need something to write with, a highlighter, and coloring utensils in the following colors: red, blue, orange, green, purple, and yellow. The coloring utensils can be map pencils, markers, or crayons.
Students need a binder.  Bring in the binder that you used for Spanish 1.  Our Spanish program builds a binder that grows with students each year. The binder becomes a great resource for our students.  Students planning to take only Spanish 1 and 2 can work fine with a two-inch binder.  Students planning to complete all 4 levels will eventually change to a 4-inch binder.
Students need a device to submit assignments online.  Many daily grades will be submitted electronically. These assignments can be submitted during class on one of the devices in my classroom.

Online assignments and extra credit information.
We will be using Google Classroom to guide our online assignments.  Some of the sites we use are Quizlet, Quizizz and Edpuzzle.  All extra credit assignments will be posted on Google Classroom during the 3rd week of the six weeks.  Extra credit is worth up to 4 points on a test grade.
