Meet Mrs. Hernandez

¡Hola! I'm Mrs. Nohemi Hernandez, and I’m so excited to have you in my class this year! This will be my 5th year teaching, and I’ll be working with both Spanish 1 and Spanish 4 students.

I’m a proud graduate of Texas A&M University—whoop!—and even prouder to be back in my hometown of East Bernard, teaching in the community that shaped me. It truly feels like a full-circle blessing to teach where I grew up.

  What to Expect This Year

You’ll be learning Spanish through conversation, music, games, and culture. I believe language is best learned when it’s fun and connected to real life. Whether you’re just starting in Spanish 1 or diving deep in Spanish 4—get ready to use your brain and your heart! 💬❤️

Please bring the following items to class:

• 📓 1 College-ruled spiral notebook

• 📁 1 Folder with pockets

• 🎧 Headphones (not wireless)

• ✏️ 4 Expo markers (any color)

• 📄 Construction paper or cardstock

• 🧻 1 Box of tissues

Optional but appreciated: Extra tissues or paper towels for the class!
