Pathway’s Classroom Information & Senate Bill 12 Notice

Effective September 1, 2025, Texas Senate Bill 12 requires schools to provide parents and students with access to instructional information. In my Math, Reading, English, Science, and Social studies classes, parents have the right to review any instructional materials used. This includes textbooks, supplemental resources, and online programs. If you would like to view these materials, please contact me, and I will make them available.

Our Pathway’s classroom serves students in grades 5 through 12. Instruction is individualized so each student works at their own academic level while still addressing the same goals, concepts, and standards as the general education curriculum. Lessons are adapted to meet individual learning needs, but all students are held to high expectations and are encouraged to achieve at their fullest potential.

Grading Policy:
Student grades for each six-week grading period are based on a balance of daily assignments and test grades. This structure allows students to demonstrate learning through both practice and mastery.

My goal is to provide a supportive and structured learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. I also believe in keeping parents informed and involved.
