Un poco sobre mí /A little about me:
I was born and raised in Mexico and have lived in Texas for a little over 30 years, where I earned a high school diploma and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I'm certified in EC-4 Generalist, Bilingual, ESL, GT, and Secondary Spanish. With 19 years of teaching experience—5 in elementary, 11 in junior high and 3 in high school Spanish. I have a son who graduated from EBHS back in 2013- he truly enjoyed being part of the Band as a tuba player, a writer and editor in newspaper and also participating in athletic and academic UIL. This community gave him the tools he needed to be successful in college and now as a computer engineer working for a big company. I'm grateful to all the EB teachers who played a part in his success.
THIS YEAR:
I'm excited to continue teaching Spanish 2 and 3 at East Bernard High School. I'm committed to continue serving and setting a positive example in this community.
EL CLUB DE ESPAñOL:
I'll continue co-sponsoring the Spanish club. We will meet during activity period to learn about the the Hispanic community through presentations exploring the different cultural aspects of the Hispanic countries around the world.

Tutorials are offered with the intention to help students be better prepared for quizzes and exams. They are also for the purpose of reteaching and reassessing major exams only within 1 week after the assessment has been graded and posted.
