All About the Teacher
Employment: This will be my 23rd year working at East Bernard ISD. I teach and drive the school bus. This is my 11th year teaching 4th grade. I started as a bus driver to get my kids into this amazing school district. Then, I was blessed to be hired as an Aide in the elementary school. While working as an Aide, I went back to school to complete my degree in Elementary Education. Nine years ago, I was blessed with a 4th-grade teaching position.
Education: I graduated from the University of Phoenix and completed my teaching program through Texas Teachers. I am EC-6 certified.
The Basics: I love Jesus, my family, and East Bernard. I have been married for 34 years to my husband, Craig. We have one daughter and one son. They both graduated from East Bernard High School. I live in Wharton, but my heart is in East Bernard.
