This is my 17th year in education and 16th here in East Bernard. I am so excited to be teaching your child this year. As an East Bernard graduate, I truly believe that this is the best place to raise a family and go to school. I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. I worked for Child Protective Services for about 5 years before moving into education. My entire career has been dedicated to children and ensuring their well being is my priority.

My husband is also an EB grad and we have 2 kids that are students here. My hobbies include traveling with my family, being involved in my kids' activities and reading.

In the 7th grade, our focus is on Texas History. We begin the year learning about the geography of Texas, before moving into early exploration and settlement. We will cover the various conflicts that have shaped Texas and the government that has emerged as a result.

In the 6th grade, the focus is on World Geography, We will learn about a new continent every 6 weeks to provide a complete understanding of the geography of the world.
