BIO
Howdy! I grew up as a small town girl from Riviera, TX. I am a '93 graduate of Texas A&M University - WHOOP! I attended a masters program in nutrition and dietetics at Texas Woman's University of Houston.
My husband, Rudy, is a native of East Bernard. We have 3 children. Brent graduated from Texas A&M and is now seeking his DVM. Zachary graduated TAMU with an engineering degree in '24, got married to another native, Cheslee Karasek, in '25 and both jumped into the work force. My youngest, Rylee, completed her TAMU degree in Ag Journalism and Communications this past May. All Aggies! The whole family is also involved with a small ranch operation, Quest Cattle Genetics, with an emphasis in Brahman and Red Brangus cattle.
I have taught a variety of subjects at Columbus ISD and Lamar ISD, but have had a strong love for and always taught science. I am taking on a new endeavor this year towards keyboarding technology and STEM and am thrilled to make this new move! This will be my 18th year of teaching and my 8th year as part of the Brahma family! I can't wait to get to know & help your kids grow.
