Howdy! I grew up as a small town girl from Riviera, TX. I am a '93 graduate of Texas A&M University - WHOOP! I attended a masters program in nutrition and dietetics at Texas Woman's University of Houston.
My husband, Rudy, is a native of East Bernard. We have 3 great former EB Brahma kids. Brent, Zachary, and Rylee also followed our legacy as Aggies and are now involved in new adventures. Zach and his wife, Cheslee (another EB native), will soon bless us with our first grandchild at the end of 2025. Our family additionally runs a small ranch operation, Quest Cattle Genetics, where we breed & raise mostly Brahman cattle in addition to some other breeds.
I have taught a variety of subjects at other districts , but have had a long history of teaching mostly 5th grade science. I am taking on a new endeavor this year to keyboarding technology and STEM and am thrilled to make this new move! This will be my 18th year of teaching and my 8th year as part of the Brahma family! I can't wait to get to know & help your kids grow.
