Former Coach Marc Jones is entering his 42nd year of teaching in Texas' schools. Coach Jones has taught Mathematics at the high school as well as the junior high levels for 41 of those 42 years and has coached football, basketball, baseball, and track from the 6A level to the 2A level and spent four years coaching at Fort Bend Christian Academy. Coach says, "The basis of my philosophical belief is I feel a person's ultimate destiny is determined by how he responds to adversity. In all aspects of life, some sort of failure is inevitable, and learning to cope with failure and turning something potentially negative into a positive, should be one of the purposes of both academics and athletics..."

Coach has been married to his wife Karen for 40 years and they have three sons and two grandsons.
