On Friday, the Brahmas hosted Tidehaven to open up the second round of district play. In the first game, the Jv team was hot at the plate, winning by a score of 10-4. Leading the charge was Blake Jedlicka with a double, 2 singles, 2 runs, and an RBI. Cole Polak added a triple, an RBI, and a run. Caydan Hall had a single, RBI, and a run scored. Dylan Baird had a double and an RBI. Luke Minks had a hit and an RBI. Trey Steffens added a hit. Raul Tavares, Weston Swoboda, Kolby Townsend, and Kameron Matthews added a run each. Keith Atkinson added an RBI. On the mound, Bryce Somer went 3 innings, striking out 5. Blake Jedlicka closed out the win for the Brahmas going 1 inning and striking out 2. The Jv is now 8-3 on the season and 5-1 in district.
In the varsity game, the Brahmas fell short by a final of 3-1. Collecting hits for EB was Hunter Goudeau with 2 hits and an RBI. Reagan Whitley had a hit and a run scored. Payton Peloquin added a double. Chris Murrile, and Dallas Novicke had a single each. On the mound, Brennan Peloquin went the distance, allowing 3 runs and striking out 5. The Varsity is now 8-5 on the year and 5-2 in district.
