The UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded annually to six high schools, one in each of the six UIL classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A), based on their team performance in district and state championships. The winning schools in each classification will receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
For conference 3A, schools that are both 3A-D1 and 3A-D2 compete together. The contests that contribute to our current cup points are: Cross Country, Marching Band, Volleyball, and Football.
Spring events such as UIL Academic State, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, One-Act Play, Softball, Tennis, and Track & Field Wrestling (Individual Sport) will contribute additional points, with the final standings determined in June.
For more information on contests and point scores, see https://www.uiltexas.org/lone-star-cup.
Let's keep working through the spring!
