Parents: We had an accidental deployment of our silent panic alert system this afternoon. The alerts and alarms worked as they should and campuses quickly went into lock down. Staff was promptly notified it was not an emergency and classes resumed as normal. We appreciate the quick response of our local law enforcement and the professional response from our staff and students. Again, this was not an actual emergency. --Courtney Hudgins Superintendent

TRACK USE REMINDER to COMMUNITY:

The EBISD track is open to the community most hours of the week. However, we ask that when it is in use by our students and staff, community members refrain from using the area in its entirety. Track season is in full swing, so please wait until all practices have ended, both during the school day and after school, to use the track.

Also, please review the rules at the main entrance regarding strollers, wagons, pets, equipment, etc. We appreciate your partnership in keeping our track in great shape and able to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Mandatory Band Parent & Student Meeting
Tuesday, February 10 | 6:00 PM | Band Hall
All Band parents and students, grades 6–12 (Junior High and High School), are required to attend this important meeting following Tuesday’s practice.

Free pizza will be served during the meeting!
The evening will begin with a special performance by the Mighty Brahma High School Concert Band, featuring their 2026 UIL concert music — a great preview of their upcoming season.

We’re also honored to welcome KHOU11, who will present the Chevy Spotlight Trophy to the Mighty Brahma High School Concert Band, recognizing their incredible accomplishments and dedication throughout the competitive marching season.
