What a week for our track athletes at the regional meet in Waco. EB, you have FIVE athletes headed to STATE! Malik Thomas, State bound, Regional Champion in the 300H with a time of 39.34(PR) Malaya Thomas, state bound, Regional Champion, in the 200 m dash. Chris Kopecky, State bound in TWO events and the regional record holder in 1600m with a time of 4:24.07 AND the regional record holder in the 3200m with 9:30.35. Ty Domel, State bound in TWO events, 2nd in shotput and 2nd in discus! Randon Polak, State bound, 2nd in polevault. Girls 1600 relay earned 3rd place. The boys track TEAM won the regional meet! Congratulations to our Brahmarette softball team earning the district co-champion title. To determine playoff seeding, they will play tonight at Sweeny High School at 7pm vs Van Vleck.

EB FFA members attended the Gulf Coast District Convention and Speaking Events yesterday. Emma McAnally spoke on behalf of Area XI and invited members to the Area Convention later this month. Three members competed in the Speaking contest:

One Act Play ADVANCES to Regionals
On Friday, April 12 the OAP team competed at Crosby HS for the Area Contest. EB received 2nd place and took away several individual awards:
Chloe Raabe- All-Star Technician, Cooper Claxton- Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, Carly Kubicek and Kadence Hernandez- All-Star Cast.
Regionals will be Friday, April 26! More details to follow.
