Unit 01 - Place Value of Whole Numbers and Decimals
In third grade, students composed and decomposed numbers up to 100,000, compared, ordered, and represented numbers using comparison symbols, and used a number line to represent numbers.
In fourth grade, students compare, order, and represent whole numbers to the billions place, compare, order, and represent decimals through the hundredths place with comparison symbols and a number line, and represent decimals on a number line.

4.2B - I can represent the value of whole numbers and decimals using expanded notation.
4.2A - I can explain that when you move to the right on the place value chart, the values are getting ten times smaller; when you move to the left on a place value chart, the values are getting ten times larger.
